i don't know exactly what it is, but this is my favorite work from you. i like the change of graphite texture (the top of the hair, and the shading of the face).
very nice work. i almost wish there were no arms or whole shirts, maybe fade it out.

Technically this is very nice...your pencil skills are without question.

The lack of background, vacant stare and static pose do make this look a little like a passport photo though...so that once you get over marveling at the technique there's not a great deal to draw us back into the picture. In fact it's actually a little intimidating...her stare kinda reminds me of that photo of Myra Hindley...sorry if this lady is a friend of yours....I'll leave now ok?

I do not know what it is about it, maybe the strong light/shadow contrast you've used... It just makes it look incredibly realistic.
